Intel adds Android to Moorestown compatibility list, wants to Atomize your smartphone

Even though it’s not new that Android has been ported to run on an Intel processor, this time it’s official, Intel seeks to take back the market share that ARM has been picking in from Intel’s bread and butter.

Some of Intel’s bigwigs are saying they’re still “on track for introduction during the first half of this year”. The Smartphone market is going to be red hot by the end of this year, which can only spell good news for consumers if there is going to be a lot of competition. Competition means faster hardware for a cheaper price, and we can only applaud that.
