Angry Birds for Android

The wait is finally over… Angry Birds has finally arrived on Android!
If you have not had a chance to check it out, it is a rather simple, yet addictive game of launching birds at a gathering of pigs in order to get the highest score. Each level is rather unique and offers a different challenge.

FM Radio

The Nexus one, along with some other phones, have the hardware for an FM radio but for some reason they do not have any software. The main problem is that this software is needed at the operating system level before any applications can take advantage of the feature.
Well, there is good news from Cyanogen. The experimental nightly builds now include the required software and application to listen in to FM radio on your Nexus One.

HTC Desire a T3 award and won two.

Congratulations to HTC on scooping two awards at T3′s 2010 awards. The Android powered HTC Desire won Phone of The Year, beating the iphone4.
The Desire nearly matches the iPhone in a number of key areas, looks clean-lined and functional, and it does it cheaper and on an open platform. Android Market is starting to rival the App Store for quality wares, as well. – T3

For all you celebrity junkies out there here is an app that may have you leaping with uncontrollable excitement, the Sun Bizarre app.  But wait, it cost money. £1.19 per 30 days. That’s just four pence a day to stay in touch with untouchable celebs and there exciting lives.

Passing on The Gingerbread Rumour

Have you heard? Yes probably you have. The highly anticipated update to the Android OS could begin to roll out next week. Not much is really known about it apart from the fact the focus of the release is on the UI. AndroidandMe quote that several hardware partners said it “change the way we use our phones”.
Hopefully by the end of next week there will be plenty of videos to wet the apatite.
